Taxes

  • GST (Goods & Services Tax) is charged on all Canadian orders.
  • HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) is charged for provinces where HST exists.
  • PST (Provincial Sales Tax) is charged on all Ontario orders.

Changing Your Order

Noreen Young Productions Inc. strives to be as efficient as possible. Our mandate is to process each order as soon as it has been approved and ship within two (2) business days. If you have made a mistake with your order please email us immediately (orders@undertheumbrellatree.ca) and inform us of the problem. Make sure you include the invoice number located on your receipt. If the order has not been shipped we will endeavor to correct your order before it is shipped.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot add products or change your payment method on an existing order. We can exchange a product for another of equal or lesser value, delete a product from your order, or change the address to which we ship or bill the order.

Customer Information & Privacy

Customer information collected at ShopUnderTheUmbrellaTree.com is done so only as a means of improving your shopping experience - including the development of ShopUnderTheUmbrellaTree.com's design and layout. This data will also be used to process orders more efficiently, as well as to provide more personalized service. We can use the data to tell you about changes in our services, or special offers that you may wish to take advantage of. We may use general customer data - information gathered through processing sales transactions and in response to customer surveys - for marketing and promotional purposes. However, we will never sell, rent, or give your name (or any other personal information) to any outside company or third party.

PLEASE NOTE: When entering any contests, and/or promotions, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address in order to administer the contest and notify the winners. If you are a winner, your name may be used by ShopUnderTheUmbrellaTree.com or Noreen Young Productions Inc. for marketing and promotional purposes.

Refunds, Exchanges & Returns

Noreen Young Productions Inc. does not provide refunds. Defective products will be replaced with the same title that was originally purchased. We do not give refunds for defective products, nor do we replace the defective product with a different title. Exchanges for merchandise of equal or lesser value is permitted only with merchandise still in an unopened factory seal that has not been tampered with.

Simply send us an e-mail (orders@undertheumbrellatree.ca) that includes your reason for the return. We will in turn send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Print out the receipt that was emailed to you at your time of purchase, and copy the RMA number onto it. Carefully package the return product with your printed receipt and send it back to Noreen Young Productions Inc. within 45 days. The RMA Mail Address can be found on our Contact page. Noreen Young Productions Inc. does not refund shipping costs but will pay to ship the replacement product back to you if applicable.

PLEASE NOTE: RMA numbers must be included in the return package with the invoice received at the time of purchase. All products for exchange, unless they are defective products, must be returned in their original wrapping. Items from separate orders require separate RMA numbers. If you are unable to locate your invoice please notify us by e-mail (orders@undertheumbrellatree.ca).
